Lime Cheesecake with Delicious Berry Syrup

It is time for a desert recipe, isn't it? With time you guys will see that I am best at cooking, but not the best at baking, usually who takes this part is my husband, I do make some delicious little things myself, like for example this lime cheesecake with berry syrup. It may sound a little different the ingredients I use on this one, but please trust me, it will taste amazing. It's a promise!

Ingredients

For the cheesecake:

1 1/2 cup (150g) of unsalted butter
1 cup (200g) of finely ground graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup (100g) of oat
1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups (600g) of cream cheese
1 cup (150g) of sugar
2 limes (zest and juice)
Zest of one orange
1 1/5 cups (300g) of heavy milk

For the syrup:

2 cups (400g) of a mix of berries (in my case I used raspberries, blueberries and a little of strawberries)
1/2 cup(100g) of sugar
4 table spoons of good natural raspberry - or another berry you like - jam (go for the ones that are not so sweet, you're already going to add sugar to the syrup so you don't want it to be too sweet)

Ettore's Roast Beef

Today I'm going to post a recipe that I learned from my mom's friend Ettore. Which is awesome for that lazy Sunday with the family. It is ease to make but it does take some time, so remember to reserve a around 3 hours for this roasted beef before you start the rest of the meal (but every minute waiting will be rewarded with this amazing roast beef).

Ingredients:
A big piece of top sirloin cap (half pound or more)
Sea salt
Oats
1 package of onion soup powder
A good amount of ambient temperature salted butter for the sirloin
